I'm an idiot (code Puller)

the other night I went to pull the codes from my ECM cuz the SES light came on. Damn Code 32. Anywho this morning I go to start my car...car starts and dies. I restart it and same. I was like WTF Then I tried again and noticed that the SES light was flashing like a maniac. I look down and left my code puller in the socket. Pulled the code puller out and problem went away. Could I have cooked something if I would have kept trying?

You probably didnt do any harm. About the only thing you couldve cooked would be your ses drive but thats only needed for pulling codes so your wouldnt experience any drivability problems. Your ses light just wouldnt work.
