"'89" Z28 for sale - worth it?
I can get hold of said z28. It has a 305 TPI and is a 5-speed. It has 16" wheels and a decent though not perfect body. It has t-tops. My purpose for it is to take all the intake stuff, the wheels, the doghouse and maybe that hatch as it has a rear defogger (my does not). It has 134K miles and the guy wants $2k. He says the engine has been rebuilt, but there is some piece he needs for the radiator and some other part before I could hear it run.
Is $2k for a parts car too much?
Thanks,
Jason

$2K isnt necessarily too much... what you have to ask yourself is $2K too much to spend for the parts you want, keeping in mind that you may be able to recoup some of that money by parting out the rest of the car. Here in Florida, you could probably get a similar car for about 1500-2000, so the price isnt that far off for just the car.

If I was to try to get the wheels, all the TPI stuff and doghouse that would cost more than $2000 indvidually, wouldn't it?
Thanks,
Jason
