V-belt to Serpentine swap

I have to change over to 134a and in the process I'd like to swap to serpentine belts. Would like to know if the pulley from a serpentine belt will work on my old compressor? Any recommendations on engines to take brackets off of? Thanks.

I made the swap on mine. I ended up replacing the a/c compressor. I have a working v-belt compressor and a bad serpentine compressor. THEIR clutches did not interchange. Even though the units looked the same, the shaft was different and the clutch assembly would not interchange. I am not sure if this is a year/model issue or a v-belt vs. serp belt issue though.

I think Willie has done this and said that the assesories were different in more ways than just the pulleys. Can't remember for sure and I have 0 luck with that search thing....anyway after reading his comments on the subject I order the serp kit from www.tacreationsusa.com and will install next week.
