went out to start the camaro today and cranked it over and it fired up for about a second and then died. tried to start it back up but wouldnt even fire. it is getting gas. what could be causing this problem?

 

well there could be many many reasons why first id check my fuel pressure and filter even thou its gettin fuel it may not be getting enough fuel id also check the spark ...and pull the plugs out and make sure they are firing and not carboned up ...also when is the last time you gave it a good tune up cap wires rotor filters all the goodies.?

 

last tune up was about 3 months ago. i have since put maybe 1500-2k miles on the car. i went out later and tried to start it and it started and ran like crap for about a minute and blew a ton of white smoke but after awhile it went away which leads me to think that it got flooded somehow. dont know how that would happen tho.
