New Heads?

Okay, I have never bought new heads for an engine before so I was wondering what others suggest for my car. I have an 89 Firebird Formula 350 with a stock 350 in it. It still has factory manifolds on it. I dont know what info you need about the engine to give me the specs for new heads but I am wanting something affordable but will give me an increase in hp. If anyone can help please do. I am just trying to get some ideas and to see how much I will be spending on the new heads.

Get rid of the manifolds first. There's alot more bang for the buck there.

I understand that I will gain some power with headers on but I am wondering what heads will work well on the car as well. I will take suggestions for heads and headers as well.

The factory L98 heads are actually pretty good heads. No reason to toss 'em yet.

Yes, if you want to save money you can port and polish those L98 heads and make very good power. Follow the link at the end of my sig for the lowdown.
