Few questions on LT1 heads and Fast burn
I have my set on a vette LT4 crate engine pumping out 395hp.
The heads on the crate engine are LT1 aluminium vette heads. My question is what do these heads flow HP wise?
Would I be better off replacing the LT1 heads with a set of Fast burn aluminiums? Would they even bolt up to the LT4 intake??
Here is the specs on the engine:
This is a Corvette Motor with LT1 corvette heads 64cc chamber, comp 10.4 to 1, cam specs crow roller cam duration .050 218/226, advertised duration 289/286.
Could I get any better CAM for this combo?
Is 10.4 to 1 Compression ratio too much to be used with a Supercharger? Might have to get the compression lowered..
Engine Description
CHEV 350 LT1 GEN 2 - Multi point fuel Injected Motor.
Reconditioned motor, 325 HP and 395 HP versions. Comes with alloy heads, water pump, drive plate, new LT4 injection, harmonic balancer, distributor, 395HP @ 5500 RPM, 420LBS Torque @ 4500 RPM. 325HP Cost $5600 #155B. 395HP Cost $6600
What you guys think?
