Radiator Cap LBS?

Radiator caps have a # of lbs on different ones. What does this do. I am going to buy a new one, but don't know the difference, considering my signature at the bottom what should I get. I am having temp. problems and am hoping this could help.

It's some kind of calculation like for every pound of pressure the coolant is under the boiling point goes up X amount of degrees.

He's right. IIRC stock is 15lbs. Anywhere from 12-16 would work fine.
