runnin' hot
Well, I got the fuel pump problem fixed. Now I'd llike to know why when I'm around town, the car runs at around 180 or 190 (new 180 T-Stat), but, at freeway speeds, runs up around 220, or MORE. It has 2 sets of electric fans, 1 pusher, and two pullers. The previous owner wired them in, and it's a rat;s nest down by the bottom of the battery. Any idea's??

That would be the lower air dam missing, which is (was) a piece of plastic right below the raidator about 6" tall. It's the piece that always scrapes when you park. I'll bet yours is torn off, as so many are.

RB83L69: Yer right! The air dam seems to be long gone. Found one in one piece at a local junkyard. Test drive tomorrow, and I'll let ya know what happens. Thanks! Quiet Bob
