ZZ4 oil pan fit our chassis?

Does the ZZ4 oil pan fit on a 3rdgen without modification? I'm switching from a 2-piece RMS to a 1-piece RMS and want to know if a zz4 pan will be OK.

Transmission: Tremec T56

Since they sell a ZZ4 engine in the changeover kit for 82-87 F-bodies, yah, I'd say the ZZ4 oil pan fits our cars.

I knew that but what I didn't want to assume it. I come from the Ford world where the crate engines they sell you won't fit in anything but their latest cars. The pans are different. The distributors are different. The front cover is different and is set up for the newer accesory and their locations. The port location and dimensions are different. etc. And most ford pans will only fit on a specific model.

Since you have to buy it as a kit to be legal, and considering all the other crap that comes with it, I thought that maybe they might have a different pan put on the engine. I guess not. But with the info I previously had it wasn't such a stupid question.
