Are AFR 210cc heads too much for a 11-12 sec. L98??
I would like to know if when I get this car, if I should go with 190cc, 195cc, or 210cc AFR's to run those times??
I talked to Vader in the chat room and I asked him for his opinion for getting a L98 into the 11's-12's, and he recommended 210cc AFR's and a Torque Converter around 2,800. What cc heads are good enough?? Is there much of a difference between a 2,600 and 2,800 TC?? What does every1 think?? Thanks!!

you can make them work with fuel injection no problem.. but most people I know get into the 10's with 190 & 195 cc heads. Kind of depends on how you set your car up. A car that screams at high RPM for the entire run takes advantage of bigger ports, but otherwise the increase in volume before the intake valve will reduce ramming effect and lower cylinder filling at lower RPM.
this helps some cars hook better, and makes others into turds... depends on what you have.

Stall speed and converter type make a world of difference! Talk to a few companies about that one. They take cam profile, weight of car, etc into consideration. Things like stall, flash, torque stall ratio all will determine how your car will travel down the track and how effeciently it will utilize your engine's power and at what RPM it is at.
