Car makes a bad grinding sound and is hard to start(sometimes)
My car wouldnt start for school this morning.It started about a month ago when i was at school and my car wouldnt start.I finally got it started and it hasnt done it since then except it makes a really bad grinding noise when it cranks up and it turns over forever before it does start.This morning it wouldnt start and it made the grinding sound really bad.I tried to crank it when i got home and it did after about 3 tries.It will start right up when it has been ran awhile and hot.Should i get a new starter and be done with it?

Sounds like bad gears on the starter, missing/worn down teeth on the flywheel, or possibly both.
