Will these valve springs work?
I have a 1992 L-98, teh heads have never been off, pretty much stock. I want to freshen up the top end, will these springs fit the stock head, using stock retainers and keepers? Will the install height work? I just want a stock type spring to bolt on, opinions?

Car: yy wife, crazy.
Engine: 350, Vortecs, 650DP
Transmission: TH-350
Axle/Gears: 8.5", 3.42
They look similar to Comp Cams 981's.
Maybe it's just me, but I'd never buy springs from a guy that can't do simple math.
1.700" - 1.150" = .550" - (at least) .050" to prevent coil bind = .500" lift
If you're not going over that lift, they'll work.

This is just me, but for springs, i prefer to stick to Isky, Comp, Crane, Lunati, Crower. The recognized names (recognized by me that is).
But like i said, thats just me.

i'd guess the springs are junk. they would fit stock heads, retainers, etc. you're going to be way ahead buying springs from comp, lunati, or crane along with retainers and trashing the factory parts.
