What do you need to know? They're basically a resonator, ie. glasspack, type muffler with a straight flowthrough. They wouldn't lower the decibles down enough for street use but will quiet a race engine down without restricting exhaust flow.

Think of it this way. If you think you can get away with a muffled exhaust like "thrush" or "cherry bombs" then the Bullets would work. If you think it's too loud and you'd get a ticket then they won't work. A loud exhaust like that sounds nice for a while but in a daily driver it gets annoying after a while. I have some good dynomax mufflers on my truck and cruising down the highway at 3000 rpm, I need to crank the stereo up to hear it and the windows are closed. Around town it's not bad but it's also not as loud as a straight flow through muffler.

I had one where normally the cat would be and that's where my exhaust ended. It exited right under the passenger side. I had a 350 bored .60 over with 10.3 to 1 comp. It sounded nice, but like Stephen said, it is kinda Loud !!

Don't think it'll be legal in the States...!

Baz89RS,

how did it sound? my muffler rusted off 2 years ago. i had it like that for a couple of months. i liked the volume but it kind of sounded like crap. will the bullet give me a deep tone? how does it sound?

im probably going to put it where the stock muffler is and have a straight pipe where the cat should go.

what if i put 2 on? would that make it sound deeper? thnx.

I have had these on many different engines. They are very loud like others stated. They have a rather harsh sound which is either racy or sounds like crap depending on who listens. While they don't have that deep (like flowmaster?) sound, I think they are great for the money, size, and weight. They quited down my straight piped 327 nicely.

sorry for the late reply...

I wouldn't know about having 2, that was my original intention. To place one under the driver for the 1, 3, 5, 7 cyl. and the one beneath the passenger for the other headers. but I could not get anything beneath the driver side.

Maybe your just thinking about putting 2 in a row, that might work too...

I really liked mine and it sounded deep enough for me !
Think about it though it's not legal...!
