400-450hp
how hard is it to get 400-450HP out of a 350 or 327? i have 041 heads, and it dosn't have to be a daily driver, just a fun weekend car or something to take to the stip. i have a single plane intake, th350 with a pretty high stall. i was thinking about a comp 290-300somthing cam and 10-10.5:1 compression.
my only concern with the engine is that the bottom end it is all stock and its a 2 bolt main. i'd probably have it balanced and all but i can't put much into it. maybe hyperutectic(however you spell it) pistons.
its also a roller block so i could put in a big roller cam if i needed.
i havn't thought about it much, its just an idea i had since i have an 80 TA with a 455 that i drive every day and don't need my 84 Z28 to be a daily driver.

To the wheels or is the 400-450 at the flywheel? That will make a difference on what you need.
