I'll be removing the dash to install new 3 inch speakers up there, but Ive heard that its difficult to take the dash off,run the wires, and re-install the dash... Is this really any big deal?

1 week and counting till I get my Camaro......*drooool*

If you're referring to removing just the dash pad, it's one of the easiest things you'll ever do on your third gen. All you need is a 7mm socket and a 1/4" ratchet. Remove the four long screws in the defroster duct, and all the screws at the underside edge of the dashpad, then slide it back towards you. It should come right out. Piece of cake.

Just curious why you'd want to run 3" speakers when there are so many good 4x6s out there. I have clarion pro-audio 4x6 plates that are a seperate tweeter and ~4" driver and they sound incredible, only $120.
And why rewire, the factory stuff will work just fine unless you are trying to run 12" subs in the dash.

Hey I think I'll check out those clarions Ed, with my kicker 6x9's I don't even hear the powered 4x6 blau's in front. It's easy to route the wires, the pita is where to route them after you've got them down under the dash - kick panel if you have an amp for them - right to the deck is easy.
