Can someone help me out please

Alright I have been trying to decide on new parts for my engine build up and I finally made my decision. I was going to go with a combo that my friend is running in his car because he is making a dyno proven 330 hp and 410 tq at the flywheel. But I decided to run a different cam on mine. Everything else is the same. So I was wondering what my numbers would be. He told me desktop dyno said he would have 325 hp and 417 tq on his motor. So I want to see what desktop dyno would say for mine. I asked him and his disk is broken. Due to lack of funding I cant just go out and buy desktop dyno because I just bought all the stuff for my motor. So I was wondering if anyone with desktop dyno would be willing to help me out. Heres my combo :

74 010 350 est. 9:1 compression
Stock Vortec heads w/ proform 1.5 roller rockers
Comp cams XE256H Cam
Performer RPM intake
Holley 670 Street Avenger carb
1 5/8 headers into open exhuast (for now)

Thanks to anyone who is willing to help me out w/ this I really appreciate it .Oh and sorry for the long post.

Any reason for choosing that cam? A lot of people use that cam or the next bigger one from COMP in their 305s. I would think that you might get better results by using an XE-262 or maybe XE-268...

Really the main reason I am using it is because a guy at my friends shop ordered it by mistake for his 383 and had it sitting around the shop in the box with the plastic still on it. He ended up giving me it for 25.00. The shop he works at builds engines for auto cross cars and they also reccomended the 262, but I would have to change the valve springs if I did that so I didnt want to go that route. He said this cam is a cam they have used and its great for low end torque. All in all it saves me like $200 getting the cam cheap and not buying new valve springs so am going that way. I am on a really tight budget. My bussiness has slowed down alot and I am taking college classes right now, so I am really trying to keep a tight budget. Thanks for the suggestion though.

If you are rebuilding the engine and it is a high mileage engine, you REALLY need to replace the valve springs anyway. They undergo a LOT of stress during their life and if they fail the resullt could be disasterous and you'd have wasted all of your money on that rebuild.
Even if you just get stock replacements, you'd be doing yourself a huge favor.

The engine and the heads only have 30k on them. I am not trying to take any shortcuts or anything like that. I am going to do everything necessary to make this engine run right, but I want to save money on anything I can.

Thx morley I really appreciate it man, well that sounds really good to me. Even though my friend was running a cam with less lift and he got better numbers, but that sounds great. I really appreciate it.

Don't let anyone tell you that those Proform rockers suck or that they are cheapies, cause I have the same ones with my Vortecs and they have seen 10000 miles plus 50+ passes at the strip and they are still like new.

Yeah I have already heard alot of criticism about, but I dont care they are cheap and I have heard good things from people who actually have them. I think that the people who complain about them probably have high horsepower motors, I think they will do fine in my little 300 horse mouse. I am also thinking of getting the proform electric water pump. I wont think anything bad of a product until I actually experience something bad with it.
