problems after 02 sensor change

Ok i was told the reason my car had a hesitation and bad idle was the o2 sensor, so today i replaced it, now the car wont go, no matter how much i push the gas it bogs down more, also theres what kinda sounds like a muffled backfire. Whats wrong? i need help fast wanna have it driveable before nightfall

Do you have a vacuum gauge or a 0-15PSI pressure gauge? They (both gauges) come in a combo for about 20-25 bucks, and gives you the ability to check fuel pressure and exhaust restrictions....oth of which could be your problem.

Did you pull any codes from teh ALDL yet?
