Are all computers created equal?
The ROC hit the streets again today. Turns out my computer is fried and cannot read any sensor but a flat value from the cts. Should I just get the cheapest rebuild I can find? Since I have to replace it anyway, are there any aftermarket alternatives that could be beneficial? Thanks for any help or recommendations...feels good to be back in a thirdgen! Thanks guys.

There arent any aftermarket ECM's that are plug and play. You need a new (or rebuilt) GM 7165 MAF ECM. You can get one from an auto parts store, but I think they're $100 or so, plus core charge.
