How do I know if.....
How do I know if my block has large journals or small journals. I have a 350 block that I am going to start rebuilding but do not know if it is large or small journal. The casting number is 10066036. And it is 4 bolt main in case it matters.

All 350 blocks have large journals, by definition.
However, some older 327 blocks, which also had a 4" bore like a 350, had small journals.
Easiest way to tell is to simply attempt to put some 350 main bearings in it. They'll either fit, or they won't.
Also, if you have a whole short block, small journal rods have 1/32" bolts (½" hex), and large journal ones have 3/8" ones (9/16").
