How wide is a 1970 Chevelle's wheelbase?
#2
Trevor,
Wheelbase is the center distance of the front axle to the rear axle. Track is the center distance from one side of the vehicle to the other, and the front and rear track widths are usually different. By your phrasing of the question, I'm not sure what you are asking for. Care to re-state?

BTW -
To my recollection, the wheelbase of a '70 Chevelle should be 110", the front track (with zero offset wheels) should be 59", the rear track should be 60". Those are from recollection, so feel free to correct me where I might be wrong (as always).
I do know that a BBC MkIV is 31½" from the front of the water pump shaft to the rear face of the flywheel. The bare cylinder case itself is 24-7/8" long without a timing set, crank, covers, etc.
