Engine: 305 TBI

Transmission: 700r4

fuel gauge is pinned

my 92 camaro RS the fuel gauge is pinned past full but only has 5 gallons of fuel in it. The part that sucks, I just put the sender & pump in the tank...pump is new, sender is from a junkyard.Anything to check or is it the sender?

Yes I did plug it in. And the car does run. It was just the gauge. And now the damn thing works. It must be in the wiring. If you think of something else let me know
