adventure on 1-95

Here is an adventure for you guys.

I travel back and forth from fayetteville, where i live, to lumberton to work. one night after a meeting that ended around 2:30 in the morning. I got a nice surprise.

I am taking exit 33 to 301 south. I heard a rattle, and thought it was my t-tops loose. so i was going to pull into a gas station when i head a pop. I thought something had broken off...then i head it....the thump, thump, thump.

Pulling over i saw i had a nice big black pancake around my rim.
So i called my dad (duh 3:00 am in the morning, dark road, no lights and being a female. what do you think!) he arrived and changed it for.

I asked him about what if i had changed it and he said i probably would have hurt myself. since my car was on a slope and it fell twice while he was trying to get it up.

the next morning with the little old spare on it. I went and put 4 brand new tires on her...luckly i had the money.

here is the pic

i had a similar problem not too long ago with my S-10. One of the crappy toyo tires came apart. Fine one minute, the next minute it jsut shreads apart. Luckily it didnt lock up or go flat or I would have been toast. Guess its a good idea to always thoroughly inspect each tire/rotate them whenever an oil change is done. Ive avoided numerous surprises and flats with the camaro by doing this.
