i dunno if this is the right place for this or not. if it aint then please move it.

i was wondering if ne1 knew of any kits to do the alum. covers in the engine bay. i've been lookin for a week or so and havent come up with any.

would it be better to just hot a local speed shop and ask them to do it or try finding a kit and doin it myself?????

thanx for any help

I can't understand what you are trying to ask about. Your sentence structure is all over the place.

i guess hes asking for a plate that will completely cover the engine with a formed aluminum sheet? So when you open the hood all u see is an aluminum sheet. Just for show , i dont think their are any speed reasons. I have never heard of one for a 3rd gen . You should just have someone make it, then it would be original and one of a kind.

u got what i was saying.

last night i was a lil drunk and on the net late.

but yeah i wanna plate the entire engine bay, and at the same time save a li cash by not having to paint the engine bay(also doin it so i dont have to worry bout scratin least 500-600 in paint when droppin the new motor in).

Heh... Its an engine bay, its supposed to be dirty. What i think would be a really neat appearence mod is a formed aluminum sheet w/ graphics that covers the valve covers and intake plenum/air cleaner, similar to what they do with cars now. That and some other stuff woudl really help to give the engine bay a more tidy, modern appearence. But, that stuff just gets int eh way when youhave to work on the motor.
