What size heads and cam?
The goal is a serious street/strip car that will see more of the street. If you were going to rebuild your L-98 as a 383 w/ forged parts, a mini-ram II intake setup, and aluminum AFR heads, what size heads would you get? What make and size hydrollic roller cam? What compression ratio would you use to keep it on 92 octane? How much HP and TQ do you think it'd pump out?

I would go with the AFR 195 Heads and the larger of the 2 SLP Cams in Summit with the 1.6 Roller Rockers. That would make an excellent set-up.

LPE makes some really great parts for third gens. i prefer lunati cams and that's the only cam i've run in my stuff for years. i've used isky (yeah i'm old), crane, and comp as well with no problems.
