Skipping at around 3000rpm
Okay I recently replaced my aluminum heads for stock head and changed out the roller cam for something close to stock for a 350 to sell the car. The car runs fine (is a lot slower) except for a skip that is around 3 grand. I changes the wires, plugs, cap and rotor button. That didn't help. The car still has the MSD ignition, and advance kit. What could be causing this problem.

Grover,
If you're sure the problem is not fuel related, you can also check the pickup coil and reluctor in the distributor. The ignition coil itself could be failing, but as long as you're in the distributor, you might as well check everything.
It's possible you are getting a little lean at higher RPMs and getting some lean backfire that will feel like an ignition miss at times.

Thanks, I'll give the pickupcoil a shot. The ignition coil MSD blaster 3 and not more than six months old. It is probably still good, but it could be bad. Will check in the fuel idea to. Thanks for the help.
