wonder if this will work with our cars

I wanted to get a cold air kit for my 91 Z, i was looking at the SLP one however i soon noticed you have to relocate your battery to get the job done right. well personally, i'm not all that interested in doing that so i was wondering if one of these two other kits they offer would work:

This one is for the C5 corvettes, it looks like it may be the same size as the opening for a TPI thirdgen, but i wonder if anything would stop working because of this: http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...RTNUMBER=21110
This one is listed as "the universal" cold air kit, it says it works with speed density, and i figure as long as i point it out toward the side opposite the battery it should work well:

Just a note: i'm not really much of a fan of these home-made cold air kits, don't get me wrong, i think they're cool and its sweet that people make em and stuff, but i dont like them for some reason.

Another thing while im on this, i'll be getting an ASCD SS hood for my car in the coming months, anyone hear of them being made functional on a thirdgen car?

Almost seems as though to make these fit, you'll have to do some home-made modifications- and you said that's not your thing. Might as well just move the battery.

Hell, just find the dual-snorkel setup from an earlier Camaro and put that on your '91.
