OK, whats wrong with it? I can't wait t'il Im done!

When setting the TIMING, I need help. When I look down to my timing lines there is a "0" and looking towards the left,"a line", then a "4" then "a line" and so on.
Would that be the correct direction to set it towards?
I have read that i should set it to 6 or maybe 8 and the Chip would take care of the rest.
But when I reconnect that plug that Im suppose to disconnect before setting timing and then I go check it, the line is "way" past the timing lines towards the left, I can barely see it. It that normal?

Also I have raised the fuel pressure as far as I can get it, cause it hit my plenum.
I can only get it to about 45 with the vaccum line unplugged.

Im all lost here....I think I need more help...I got til Monday morning for work...

Oh god please help me....LOL...nah really HELP!...please.

What am I doing wrong?

It's normal for the timing mark on the balancer to go way off the scale with the computer wire connected. That means that the ESC module is doing it's job, advancing or retarding timing based on input from the knock sensor.

As for the AFPR problem, I wish i could help you out but I have no experience with AFPRs. Maybe the others can help out here.

As for the timing, that is normal, however, the ESC Module has no say in advance, only retard. But the computer will advance the timing once taken out of "bypass" (hence the name).

As for the AFPR, I'm sorry, but you are supposed to turn the screw IN to raise the fuel pressure and back it out to lower. You also should have ground out the bottom of the plenum for added adjuster clearance.
