as long as we're dreaming i want more money and a longer rod . seriousely you aren't going to find low cost al. rods or forged pistons. also you don't want al. rods on the street.

Mr, Kidd,

Welcome aboard!

Not to throw a damper on your wishes, but aluminum con rods may not be your best choice for lots of power.

However, forged aluminum pistons can be had for what I would consider a reasonable cost. TRW makes aluminum forgings with pins for a 400 SBC for around $400.00 a set. Considering a set of cast pistons can take $300.00 out of your wallet, that's not bad.

Jester,

$83 ?

Balanced to +/- 2 lbs.
Special "tin" hooper-humper alloy
"Stock Replacement" grade (junk)

Eh, or most likely of all:

Gauranteed not to burn your fingers when you grab 'em - just make sure you pay cash an' don't tell ANYBODY where you got 'em.

$83 - truly a steal.

PAW special sale They're a brand called Badger. IF they last half as long as my 250k old stockers have, I'll be happy.
