Accel/DFI

Anyone have experience with the Accel/DFI system (computer/harness only)? I am thinking about using it on my new 350TBI engine. I have a certified DFI tuner 10 minutes from my house, so tuning is taken care of. I really don't know much about the good or bad points about DFI. Anyone want to comment?

DOH!!
Dan,

You're the one who recommended him for the gear install and we got side tracked talking about DFI. I didn't know you guys were DFI tuners. Of course I want it done right. Who's better at it? Do you use the same chassis dyno? Who's dyno is it?

Scott tuned my friend's '85 Chevy 350TPI truck and I heard and saw a few things I didn't care for at the shop.

My ENTIRE setup is brand new, so I want it to be taken care of.

I thought you and Scott were friends?

There are quite a few unsatisfied customers. Scott and I used to be pretty tight, now we just say "hi". My boss laughed when he saw how Scott programmed my DFI! Scott actually thought you could use a one-bar map sensor with a supercharged car. Geeeez...
