where to mount oil temp sensor?
I am adding an oil cooler, and an oil temp guage, and I have an idea on where the put the sensor, but I wanted some opinions first . . .
I am going to use a sandwich adapter, with a 6-pass cooler in front of the radiador and condensor. I'm going to use -10 stainless hose (9/16" id) for the plumbing. I already have the adapter, and I have the two 3/8NPT to -10 AN nipples installed. Here is what I was thinking: Use a male-male npt nipple on the outgoing port of the sandwich adapter, and put a tee on it, and the npt-an nipple on the other end of the tee. I would use the 3/8npt adapter for the temp sensor on the side of the tee, so the sensor sticks into the straight part where the oil flows.
What concerns me is that the sensor might cause a bottleneck in the oil flow, and I won't get enough oil to the engine, or at least at too low a pressure. I don't have the stuff to braze a fitting into the oil pan, and I'm not sure I can do that wihout taking the pan off, which I don't want to do. Anybody have any opionions/ideas? Thanks.

Ok, never mind, I have the parts and the sensor doesn't even stick far enough into the tee to see, much less obstruct flow.
