k well i was out tonight playing with my new z28 and found a couple things going on that i no it not normal. anyway when i am going hard on the gas just before sceond gear, u could feel that it is just about to take off as soon as it switches gear. (hard to explain but i am not the only person to notice this) then when it does change gears it the car leap forword hard, and sometimes can hear something under the car jurk. even just driveing normal when she changes to second she leaps not to bad though.the other probelm is carb related so i will post it there.....so whats up with my car? any ideas?

 

you need to reduce the size of the pic in your sig so whoever reads your thread doesn't have to scrool over to read it. it'd helped if you took the time to say what sort of car/engine/trans combo you had but since you didn't i'll guess. trans mount broke and TV cable needs adjusted.

i dont no what tranny i have. i got a 83 z28 with a carbed 350. i no its not the tranny mount, so i am gunna go get this tv cable looked at.

 

k so i went and talked to my mechanic about adjusting it and he is saying its prob because my kick down wire it not hook up. could this be the problem, because it only really does then when i go WOT. anyone?????

 

i'm guessing you have a 700r4 seeing turbos run mostly off vacuum.

The tv/kickdown/whatever they have so many names goes into the tranny (if its a 700r4, does it have overdrive?) on the passenger side.
