moved to high altitude,car sucks
I just moved to Colorado Springs from Florida, My car went from lighting up the tire to a small chirp off the line. I know the altitude would affect the car but d@mn. Any help?

Advancing the base timing helps a little.
Other than that, your only choices are to do what it would take to increase the power at sea level, or add more oxygen some other way.

I love going out to the mountains but going from sea level (Alabama gulf coast) to 5-10,000 ft. is a big drain on power. My Camaro is a dog in the mountains, especially over 7-8,000 ft. If I lived there a supercharger would be the first thing I bought. I drove it up Pikes Peak once and it felt like a 4 banger at 13,000 ft.
