my friend just got a 98 mustang, 6cyl. and we raced today.. and he was ahead of my completely by the time i hit 2nd..

i have an 84 z28 w/ a 305 HO. it has a high rise manifold and 3" exaust. im not sure what other mods were done to it when i bought it. and also when i first bought it, i was dead even with a doge stealth R/T (non turbo)

i know new 6 cyls are fast. but seems to me that i should have beat him.. it also seems like my car lays down in the upper rpms.

i put plugs and wires in it about 6 months ago.. i suppose i could replace the dist. cap.???
