what causes exsessive crankcase pressure

I am 99% sure I have a serious case of blow by. My oil pan is leaking like crazy, my dipstick is blowing oil all over my hood, headers and HSR and the 2 gromments on the valve covers are leaking oil as well. This engine is a brand new GM engine I bought last June and it has 15K miles on it. My warranty ran out on the 7th so Im out of luck for a warranty. Now, what is causing this to happen, do I have bad oil rings? is there any way to check this? also, the PCV and hose and gromments where replaced last week and its still doing it. if I pull the dip stick out a little a lot of smoke comes out.

yeah you should be 100 % sure its blowby, probably because of the rings, I guess you could do a leak-down compression test to make sure but thats what it sounds like. did you ever have any overheating problems on the motor, I've heard that that can cause the rings to get brittle and break.

no overheating problem ever. So your saying that I can do a leakdown test to see if the rings are shot?
