theoretical question

Hey guys, I am wondering which will make more power for my bracket car??

here is what I have:

stripped and guttet bracket car, th-350 tranny (full manual),none of the factory wiring.

I have two options for a new motor for it:

stock LT-1 which has all the fuel injection components except for the computer,MAF,wiring harness-----

or I can swap out the fuel injection stuff in liew of a carb manifold, and standard HEI dist.

which would be the more powerfull and economical choice considering everything needed to make the fuel injection functional, I already have the carb manifold for it as well as a holley 750.

if I were to try to get the fuel injection to work what would I need to do it with.

Carb will be cheaper and easier to do, the stock TPI does not make any power in the upper RPM range and to get it so it will cost money.

An LT1/4 isn't going to start and run without the PCM, and won't run well at all without the MAF.

4bbl 350 or 383 (406?) would be my suggestion.
