Leaking intake

I just discovered a small puddle of oil up on my intake. Guess I've got a bad gasket or a crack in there. So, my question is, how difficult is it to take off/replace the intake w/ TPI? Is it a simple bolt off/torque on type deal or is there more to it? Do the injectors need to come out, too?

If you have never replaced an intake manifold before, a TPI setup is kind of intense for the first time. The trottle body, plenum, runners, distributor, fuel rails, & injectors must be removed. Before contemplating doing this, clean off everthing & determine the source of the oil leak. Nothing comes to mind as to what would cause a leak "on the manifold". Usually it's the case of oil leakage at the end seals of the manifold. Take a second look before you leap.

Or you can just take that one bolt out (where it's leaking from)... clean it really well... then put teflon on threads and put it back in. It wont probably wont leak ever again.

Also, run a tap through the threads in the head (if you can get a tap in there) to clean the gunk out of them (then spray w/LITTLE carb cleaner) or leak will probably restart...
