Do you think I'll need custom length pushrods with Canfield 195s and.......
The books all say to use a push rod length checker but I'm on a tight time schedule to get my car going, and I need to know if stock length pushrods will work with my setup:
Canfield 195s
Comp Cam full roller 1.5 7/16 stud rockers
Lunati solid cam #40135 (244/254 duration @.050, .530/.555 lift)
rebuilt 350 short block stock compression height, flat top hyperuetectic pistons (4valve relief).
What do you guys think? Anybody here with canfields running stock length pushrods??? The canfield head instructions say that there is no specific length........what exactly does a length checker tell you??

check the length and you'll know for sure. if you want a guess with no hard data to suport it you need longer push rods. maybe not custon length, there are lot of differant length stock or after market push rods on the market, you might even have to run a ford piece like ron did a few days ago.
