what type of seal is it suppose to be? im thinking an o-ring? if so anybody know what size? Already posted on the trans board and got no replys.. thanks!

It's not an O-ring. It is a rubber sleeve with a lip on top. It is similar in appearance to the seal for the dipstick tube or even the 700r4 tv cable seal but much smaller. You can find them in the HELP ME section at the parts store or just bug a transmission shop into letting you have one

the dipstick tube seal is an o-ring... not too sure watcha mean... guess i'll take a look though
