Help me quick!!! Gas is leaking!!!

Help help help!!! Please!!! When I got home today from school, I noticed a smell. It was GASOLINE!! I looked under the car and saw it was leaking from underneath the hood. So I went under the car and noticed that GASOLINE was leaking out of this cylinder thing that had 3 lines going to it. 2 rubber hoses and 1 steel line. When I would put pressure on the rubber hose, it would leak even more. Please help. Please. I dont know what to do. When I would turn the car off, it would start leaking. When it was running, the leaking stopped. I dont know whats wrong. Please help.

fuel delivery leak, if you don't know anything about
cars or carb intakes, TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC.

it's better to have it towed with it off than to drive it
and have it set your few thousand dollar car on fire.

That is the fuel pump.

Extremely easy to replace; 2 bolts and one 5/8" flare nut and 2 rubber lines. Extremely dangerous to ignore: not only is it leaking gasoline to the outside world, but also into the crankcase. You probably have at least 3 quarts more "oil" in it than you think you do, from gasoline leaking into the crankcase.

Change it IMMEDIATELY, if not sooner.
