First tune up, cant get the rotor off the distributor..

First tune up, cant get the rotor off the distributor..
I got the cap off and the darn rotor is like locked on the distributor, any help or tips to get it off?

That is really weird because once I removed the 2 screws on mine the rotor just fell off to one side by itself. Is there anyway to pry if off with a screwdriver since it's being replaced anyway.

there was 2 screws holding the cap on, after that i pulled straight up on the rotor was it didnt come off.
i am looking at my new accel rotor and it doesnt have any screw holes just a metal on it.

I had a hell of a time getting a friend's '91 Formula's (305 TBI) rotor off. The damn thing was the original; I changed it in 96 or 97. Funny how he had paid over $100 each year for a tuneup, and it was never replaced! Anyway, after much prying, it finally came off, and I almost fell backwards...
