Block Questions

Block Questions

I have a 74 350 block that i want to stroke and drop in my 87 IROC, WILL THERE be any problems as far has accesories and water pump is concerned, i was talking to a friend and he wasnt sure that it would all bolt up. thanks

only problem you'll run into is the flywheel/flex plate from the 87 won't bolt to the earlier 2 piece rear seal block. all your accessories will bolt up with no problems.

As far as the block goes, everything will bolt up. However if you use different heads than what you have now, they must have the accessory holes in them or everything may not bolt up.

hanks that was what i thought but just figured id look into it before i got too far. Im using a set of AFR heads and i belive they have accesory holes
