Car just turned off on highway....twice
I'm driving along the highway then as I exit it it just turns off, I am wondering if it could be 4 things, 1- my egr ,2- the fuel pump, 3- fuel filter, or 4 the IAC which I know is bad, the first time it happend it started right up but today it took awhile to turn on, oddly enough i just happened to open the gas cap and varoom it started with no problems ,I tried it twice and it worked.strange aint it?

You need to pin it down better. Is it fuel pressure problems? if you haven't changed the fuel filter lately, do it. If the IAC is bad, fix it. EGR will kill the engine at idle and make it hard to start. It usually "just" catches then peters out...
Does it happen only when teh car is warmed up? Recently a guy had a Grand Am quit in front of my house, and he putzed with it for a hour before I wandered out there to see what was going on. Whenever the car warmed up, it would quit on him. It started okay, but ran real lean and dies whenever he put it in gear. I gave him my old '84 T/A spare oxygen sensor, and it started up & ran like a champ. Come to think of it, he never came back with that six-pack of beer he promised me!
