Leaking Valve Seals?

Leaking Valve Seals?
My car has been puffing some blue smoke at startup for a while now. I assume my valve seals are leaking oil, so im looking for a cheap way to stop it temporarily because I cant afford to work on them right now. I am up for a oil change so I figured that if I run a thicker oil, lets say 20W50 It will have a harder time getting through. Does this seem logical to you? Or can anyone reccommend a good oil treatment that will help. I have been looking into them a bit as well and have seen a product from GUNK called stop smokin. Think this will work? Thanks for any help you can give!

Mine smokes really really bad - they are just plain shot! But I haven't bothered with them - I've been running it this way for 9 months now with no problems. I'm installing new heads in a couple weeks, and I knew this all along, so I didn't bother - maybe not a bad thing really - any extra oil anywhere can't really hurt lol - I figure I'm just lubricating my cylinders more than anyone else lol. But like I said - hasn't hurt anything on mine.

valve seals cost less than 10 dollars for o rings, less than 25 for postive seals and o rings. you should be able to reuse valve cover gaskets ,there isn't much else to buy. you should be able to afford to fix it.

actually it can hurt over time....the oil dripping on the vales tend to sludge them up with thick carbon. this can cause hard starts sometimes cause the charcoal becomes dry when sitting a while....and absorbes the initial startup fuel till its saturated. Plus all that lumpy charcoal kills the airflow
