What's the best oil filter for Synthetic oil??

I putting Quaker State HP Synthetic oil in my car and wanted to know what the best oil filter there is to use, I want maximum filtration with the most oil pressure.

Well, if you also wanted to use the best synthetic oil, then the answer is AMSOIL for both.

AMSOIL has for years used a depth-type filter media rather than the standard paper. This gives their filters a rating of 10 microns absolute, and better dirt holding capacity since the particles are trapped within the filter. Flow isn't a problem. Paper filters are surface type, which means the particles are trapped when they can't pass through the holes in the paper - ratings are typically 30 microns nominal, 60 absolute, and the dirt is held on the surface.

Mobil 1 has come out with a filter line that comes close to what AMSOIL had 10 years ago. They're about the closest to AMSOIL out there right now.

K&N makes great oil filters now. They carry them here at Advanced Auto for $10. The had a 1" nut welded to the botton for easy installation and removal and they can be safety wired.

Axle/Gears: 9" from 57 ranchero unsure gears.
Mobil 1 makes a good oil filter but I use the K&N filter on mine

Hey guys.... The Mobil 1 and K+N filters are one in the same(cept the nut). Neither one of them makes it either, although I havent yet found out who is doing it.

Well, I just bought my K&N oil filter today and it cost me only $13 bucks!
