Things to do to make my car more reliable and get better MPG
I might be taking my car to school this year. It's about 200 miles away. I am trying to think of things I could do to make my car as reliable as can be and get good gas mileage. My best mileage to date is 13.7/16.1 (city/highway). I was thinking of ideas that could be done for relatively cheap that could help me out. For that extra cooling, just in case, I was thinking of a 10" electric fan in front of the radiator. Does a carb spacer decrease mileage, if so I could remove mine. Would I see better mileage if I changed my 750 CFM Edelbrock to a smaller CFM carb? Any other little things you guys can think of. Please check the first link in my sig for my setup.
