can i use this fuel filter for fuel injection?
on my carb setup i have a plastic body fuel filter that just has a hose fitting on either end. will this hold up to the pressure made by a tpi pump? if not, should i get a steel body one?

I think that the hose clamps don't grip enough to hold under the pressure generated by the fuel pump. Hence the need for the in-line fuel filter to have threaded fittings. As for the plastic filter itself...I think I would not chance it, it is made for the pressures put out by a mechanical fuel pump, obviously much less than an electrical one.

also quite dangerous... imagine that thing bursting/coming off the line with 45 psi behind it alll over a hot engine reminds me of the time a needle stuck on my carb and fuel was spurting out of the vent tube... lucklily the motor wasn't hot and I caught it right away
