oil psi too much?

my oil pressure is at about 75psi at idle, and about 80 reved up at all, down to about 65-70when its in gear and idling while its warm. its a new engine just broken in, it has a melling high volume, high pressure oil pump. i'm running 10w-40 right now, should i run something like 5w-30?

are you getting that reading from a stock gauge or a reliable aftermarket gauge? the stock ones are far from accurate
