Non-CC Distributor
When I bought my car, the previous owner had replaced the stock Q-Jet with a non-cc carb. They failed to replace the stock distributor, so I'm getting 0 timing advance. I need to pick out a distributor with a vacuum advance. Which do you reccomend? Summit has a mallory one that seemed decent and it was 132.95$ w/o the coil. My question is that they say it's a "Dual Points" distributor? What does that mean? Are all distributors for my application like this?

Don't get that. It has..... points. Mechanical, points. Stone Age.
Accel has their "blueprint" line, and MSD has something similar. That's more what you need. Roughly the same price range.
