you can fiddle witht eh min. air adj. screw but id leave it stock if you cant burn a prom with a new min. idle speed. If there isnt a good reason to do it, id leave the idle where it is.

well their is kinda a good reason i have under drive pulleys and my amp meter goes down because it idles kinda low @ like 650-700 in drive and like 800 in park i get dimed lights at night so i would like to go about a 100rpm more i did with my foot and it seems to make a big difference in the meter.

hmmm... what size pulley is on the alternator now? I suppose you could find a smaller dia. pulley for the alternator, that would help. Kind of self defeating gettign a smaller pulley with a u-drive system but the alternator is one accessory that works better at high speeds.

Here we go again...
More underdrive sheave problems. I wish the "Search" feature was working. I could probably find a hundred posts like this. People that sell these systems conveniently forget to mention the negative effects. And also conveniently forget to tell you that the electrical load is a constant, so you'd actually be better off only buying underdrive sheaves for the steering pump and water pump only.
No, you cannot change the target idle speed without reprogramming the ECM. Adding throttle angle will briefly "fool" the ECM, but you'l have other problems, like low IAC counts, MAF errors, etc.
