Desktop Dyno 2000? or what else?

What is the best dyno software to use? I have been looking at Performance Trends Engine Analyzer v3.0 found at www.performancetrends.com

It seems to be more user freindly and more configurable than DD2000. It costs like $110 which is way more than DD200 and I am just wandering if the extra price is worth it.

I ran it in XP and it worked fine.

Last night I downloaded Virtual Engine Dyno from Challenger Engine Software for 39.95 and it seems to work good.

I input my project 350 with my cast iron LT1 heads unported, LT4 hot cam with 1.6 rockers, 10.35 comp, LT1 intake with 750cfm TB and 1 - 3/4" headers and it came up with 407tq at 5500rpm and 467hp at 6250rpm. Can someone run this combo in DD2000 and see if they are close?

It is easy to set up an engine in this program and you can input specs for every engine component you can think of, They also have preset data for a lot of stock and aftermarket components.

I personally like EA3 the best. I also have Virtual Engine Dyno, and is much-much better than DD2K, but IMO EA3 is the better of the three.
It's runs fine in XP, in fact I don't think I ever had it crash. I ran it on 98/ME/2K/XP - no problems. <- yes it's showing it's age a little...

why dont you both just go download Kazaa, then in Kazaa search for DDY2K, you can get the full version there from me and some others.
